Writing in the 3rd person feels like a documentary.
Since 2018, I've done everything from research, testing, prototyping, visual design, and team buidling.
Most recently I was on the design team at Groove and previously at Kyocera Labs. A majority of my experience has been in b2b and enterprise software where my work focuses on improving productivity.
I value teaching, learning, and buidling collaborative teams. Outside of my 9 to 5, I enjoy giving back to the design community by mentoring designers and career changers on ADPList.

AWAY FROM MY DESK
When I'm away from my computer you can find me crocheting, snuggling with my cats, reading, camping, or making music. I would call myself a pianist and vocalist who dabbles in guitar. I began teaching piano when I was 17, and I completed my BA in music from UC Berkeley.
I teach piano and vocal lessons to students ages 5 and up. I love helping students build self-confidence through music. Teaching has given me communication and problem solving skills that I bring to cross-functional teams.
